Clanfield is a beautiful village and a wonderful community. Beyond Clanfield, the rest of the world is priceless too, for all its problems. Let’s do everything we can to protect it.
The Heat Clanfield team believe reducing our use of oil for heating and hot water is a good place to start.
None of us likes heavy traffic blocking our narrow streets. Fewer fuel delivery tankers can only be a good thing.
Doing away with our oil tanks frees up garden space for something better.
And for all our futures, we want to do our small bit to fight climate change, and show other communities what can be done. A consultant we spoke to summed it up perfectly,
“We’ve got to stop burning stuff.”
Cutting fumes from oil boilers will improve local air quality.
Without clean, efficient heating systems and well insulated homes Clanfield will become less attractive to new residents, especially young people. That won’t be good for property prices or for local businesses.
